another favorite...

Hannah and I spent nearly the last two weeks alone while Chris was on a work trip to China.  There were some tough moments but there were also some really good moments...

like this one that I was able to catch of us looking and smiling at each other.

I love making these kinds of memories with her, but I love making these kinds of memories with both her and her daddy even more.  So glad that he's back home with us because we kind of like him ;)

Here's to cherishing the simple moments with the ones we love most!

Hannah rolled from her back to her belly for the first time last Friday night.  I have yet to catch her rolling on video but at least I caught the aftermath of her very first roll :)

3 months

Someone turned 3 months old today!

She has been smiling so much.  Hannah's also starting to giggle more and loves to talk to us.  Her coos and "talking" are just so precious!  You can also see some of the blonde hair in the picture that she's starting to get on the front of her head.  She still has dark hair in the back in a sort of monk hairdo (that's what we've heard it called) :)  I'm pretty excited about the blonde hair coming in.  Makes me wonder if it will stay blonde like mine.

2 months old

H is now 2 months old!  It's hard to believe that all those weeks have passed now.  She's getting to be a more active little girl and it's almost time for me to go back to work (*tear).

Here are H's monthly pictures so far...

You can kind of tell in the pics that she's lost some of her dark hair.  She still has some on the very top of her head and near her neckline (with her ever-growing rat tail :) But the areas that were balding now have tiny little blond hairs coming in.  I'm secretly hoping for her to have really blond hair like me when I was little :)

Right now, we're loving it when she smiles and talks to us.  It is just adorable and melts our hearts.  I think we could just do that all day with her!  Her legs are also pretty strong and she can stand for at least a few seconds, if not longer at times.

She still doesn't like getting her clothes changed or lotion put on.  But she does love her activity mat with the panda that lights up and plays music for her!

Overall she's a great baby and is starting to sleep through the night.  (Yay!)

We will see what her stats are when we go to the doctor today, but we're estimating she weighs around 10.5 pounds.
